L.A. Tourist Trans San Gabriel

L.A. Tourist Trans San Gabriel

The L.A. Tourist Trans San Gabriel bike route will cover a large section of the San Fernando Valley, San Gabriel valley and the San Gabriel forest. 


The route will be a bit different and harder than the L.A. Tourist race. It will be a set route, so some will say that makes it easier? We will let you be the judge of that.


We have selected some of the best single track, double track, fire roads and pavement that the San Gabriel mountains have to offer.  We lumped them all together and what do ya know we came up with a race route that is 225 miles and 26k of climbing.  


Registration for October 26th, 2024 L.A. Tourist Trans San Gabriel race is now open. There will be two aid stations and food.

The Rules

  • This is a set route you will need to follow and there will be a time cutoff of 36 hours, we cant wait forever for you to finish.  


  • All Racers must be register with Trackleaders and will need to have a SPOT GPS. You will be able to rent directly from them or if you have your own. All rented SPOT will be picked up from the shop.


  • Like all L.A. Tourist races this is a self supported event , it's up to you to make sure you have what you need to feed yourself, hydrate, navigate, fix any mechanicals, see in the dark, fight off Big Foot if you should come across the creature, and call for help if you should choose to quite.  


  • This events time is TBA, race is on October 26th you will have 36 hours to complete this route to be added to the finishers page.  You must ride the full route exactly, and under your own power,  no catching a ride.  At the finish we will be verifying completion of the route.


  • There is no parking at Let's Ride Cyclery, please use the side streets behind the shop or make plans to be dropped off and picked up.  


  • This is a fully self supported event, there is no sag vehicle to pick you up and take you home.   Have a plan and tell someone. 


  •  NO E-Bikes


  •   All registration sales are final. No refunds, thank you for your understanding.
