Let's Gravel

Let's Gravel

A New experience brought to you by L.A. Tourist.

Since 2019 L.A. Tourist has been putting on some form of Dirt related events, riders have chosen to use CX bikes, MTB bikes and what has become known as Gravel bikes.  So now L.A. Tourist has decided to finally put on a Gravel specific event, no question about it this is a Gravel bike event but from the messed up mind of Mike so you know its going to be wild!

So this is it, our first ever LET'S GRAVEL!

So Let's Do it, 40 miles and 5k in our BIG mountains only 1 hour drive, from Burbank, await you.  This is a true gravel event so bring your GRAVEL bike or you can also use a CX bike or hardtail MTB for more comfort.

We will be providing a breakfast at the start, 2 aid stations and a finisher party so no need to over pack like on most L.A. Tourist events and best of all you'll be getting a cool ass finisher T-Shirt   This is taking place in Feb so make sure to layer up cuz it could be freezing.   Unlike our other events this is a fully off site destination event.  The event will be hosted out of the The Lakes Community Center in lake Hughes CA,  17520 Elizabeth Lake Rd, Lake Hughes, CA 93532, Lake Hughes, CA  93532

Riders will start out of the community center at 8am Lemond style heading straight up and out into the mountains.   You will feel like you have entered another state and been granted access to Gravel nirvana, if you don't loose your breakfast first, as you make your great accent towards Green Valley.  You will have long climbs with epic dirt road descents as you make your way through this  magical route in our Angeles National forest.  Keep your eyes open as you enjoy your surroundings all while you look for the aid stations that will be there to keep you fueled and motivated to finish.  When you make it back home to the finish we will have some lunch and drinks ready and waiting for you.  Stay as long as you like sharing stories of the day with your newly made bike friends.

A set route, some may say this makes it easier.
